If Heritage farm should close 20 local jobs will be lost putting further strain on the government coffers. You can see the support and join the twitter campaign #saveheritagefarm and a group set up on super viagra usa. .
Avril Clark says
I am totally disgusted and appalled at the treatment of the tenant of Heritage farm Nursery by Surrey County Council.
This local business has become an important part of the local culture and should be supported.
Whilst I appreciate that times are hard and everyone is looking for ways to make cuts and money savings, I cannot understand how a 167% rent increase can be justified when we are still in a recession. The nursery employs 20 people which will now be unemployed and will add to the local jobless numbers. Many people in small and large businesses everywhere are either taking wage cuts or having no increases whatsoever and many are uncertain about their working future. The council should be looking to support this local business with a fantastic reputation not making increases which will result in it’s closure. There is nothing else like Heritage in the local (or even unlocal) area. There is no way this small community business will be able to get the additional sale to cover this hike in charges. Come on and be realistic!
She continues, “There is much support for this local business on Facebook and I suggest everyone has a look to see and also reads every single email you receive on this matter. I thought the council was all about local business and I have to admit I am totally disappointed in this.”
There will be a meeting at the farm Sunday 13th Jan at 2pm of people showing their support.
